I’m interested in hearing how Basecamp integration might work here. Any comments welcome :)

Harvest integration is getting a lot of steam lately. Putting it on the roadmap. Thanks!

add categorization for sections and fees.
It's difficult to manage when you have lots of sections.
Example:
Design
-- Branding
-- Wireframe
-- Web design
-- Business card

Tip: You can categorize your sections and fees by starting the name with the category and placing it in brackets. Example:
{Design} Design of New Company Logo
In the case above, the {Design} portion is used to categorize and sort but isn’t shown on the actual proposal.

Add calculations by hourly rates
1. Allow items to have different rates.
2. Allow items to be entered by hours rather than flat rates
3. Make it optional to show the hours on the final bid.66 votes -

Integrate with ActiveCollab
I really love Bidsketch and it would be great if it integrated with ActiveCollab. They seem to have a pretty straight forward API and good developer documentation. http://www.activecollab.com/docs/manuals/developers

Thanks for the submission! This is a problem with the FCKEditor and the newer CKEditor but I’m monitoring for iPad patches.

add more variables. Make anything within client profile or my profile a useable variable.
Contracts often require things like a point contact person as well as the company name - right now you only have {client_name} as a client variable. Why not their address? Their company name, etc. Same with my info. More fields should be added to client and my own profile so that more variables can be added in sections. Isn't that the whole point? To make these as re-usable as possible? I'm already having to re-type things too much for a "templating" application.

Thanks for the suggestion. Good point, I totally agree. As such, you’ll be able to use many more variables soon. Thanks!

Add a quantity field for the fee schedule (especially for monthly)
When adding a fee to the schedule it would be great if you could specify a quantity that would automatically multiply the basic fee with the quantity giving a total.
Example:
Widget fee: $ 50.00
Quantity: 5
Total: $250.0026 votesplanned ·

Integrate with Javelin CRM
I think it would be really nice to have either the Javelin CRM or some other CRM integration option - I think it would really help pull together one's workflow.

Add more than one contact to clients
I came across a request that required two names as the main contacts for the client. There was no way to add the second contact.

This definitely will be done. It goes hand in hand with Freshbooks integration. In the meantime, you can add multiple email addresses when sending out a proposal. Does this help? Thanks for the feedback!

Ability to add tax to proposal fees
Would like to be able to add a tax value (e.g. VAT) to a final proposal fee, based on a percentage of the final cost

"Request Quote" Form for our Websites
It'd be nice to have a form which we can embed & style on our own websites/portfolios for quote requests (that then feeds the info right into Bidsketch), thus eliminating the need for double entry. Be a nice way to manage the sales pipeline a little more.

I’m likely looking at integration with form builder apps like Wufoo and Formstack but this isn’t out of the question. Thanks!
